ShopSite 10.0 - New Features

HTML Editor (Pro, Manager, Starter)
Many text fields can now be edited using a word processor-like HTML Editor. Toolbar buttons allow merchants to quickly add layout and style elements, and view the results as they edit the text.
Doba drop shipping (Pro, Manager, Starter)
ShopSite has integrated support for Doba drop shipping service. Doba has over 1,000,000 products you can sell without having to physically handle a single product. ShopSite can automatically import product information from Doba and post it to the merchant's store for ordering by shoppers. Order information is directly sent to Doba for fulfillment.
Order Anywhere Wizard (Pro, Manager, Starter)
Merchants who want to add order buttons to an existing website can easily use the ShopSite Wizard's new option to generate order buttons. New merchants who choose the order button path in the wizard will be guided through the process of configuring ShopSite and creating order buttons that can be added to existing web pages.
4 New Themes (Pro, Manager, Starter)
Four new store layout themes have been added to ShopSite. The Curved, Crop Circles, Texturize, and Congruence themes each have a variety of stylish color schemes for merchants to pick from.

Value Added Tax (VAT/GST) (Pro, Manager, Starter)
Merchants in the European Union can now use an integrated VAT/GST calculator. ShopSite can be configured to automatically calculate value added tax based off the merchant's country and the customer's country and postal code.
Multiple Shipping Carriers (Pro, Manager)
ShopSite now allows merchants to display shipping rates from multiple carriers in the shopping cart. Merchants can subscribe for UPS, FedEx, and USPS real-time shipping quotes, then display quotes from each of the services for the customer to select from.
Customer Registration Upload/Download (Pro)
Registered customer information can now be updated or added to ShopSite using an XML or delimited text format.
Inventory API (Pro)
A new API has been added for developers of third-party inventory control applications. The API allows merchants to use an add-on application to track and manage product inventory in ShopSite.
Partial Percentage Coupons (Pro)
Coupons now allow partial percentage discounts. Merchants can create discounts in increments smaller than one percent, such as a 17.5% or 1.25% discount.

Remote Orders Database (Pro, Manager, Starter)
Merchants who store sensitive customer information, such as credit card numbers, can configure ShopSite to store the sensitive order information in a remote database. Storing sensitive information on a remote server in an internal network zone is a PCI requirement.
Option to Not Save Customer Address in Cookies (Pro, Manager, Starter)
Merchants can select whether or not ShopSite should remember customer address information. The customer address cookie provides convenience for customers using their own personal computer to place orders, but may be a privacy concern for customers using shared or public computers. Sensitive information, such as credit card numbers, are never stored in a cookie.

ACH Direct Payment (Pro, Manager, Starter)
Support for the ACH Direct PaymentsGateway has been added to ShopSite. Merchants can use ACH Direct PaymentsGateway for realtime processsing of credit card and e-check payments.
Google Checkout for UK Merchants (Pro, Manager, Starter)
ShopSite has added support for Google Checkout merchants in the UK.
Improved PayPal Fraud Protection (Pro, Manager, Starter)
ShopSite has been updated to use PayPal's latest APIs, which offer improved fraud protection features.

Google Analytics in Manager (Pro, Manager)
Google Analytics is now available to ShopSite Manager merchants.
Custom Page/Product Fields in Manager (Pro, Manager)
The Custom Fields for Pages and Products have been added to Manager stores.
Page Sort in Manager (Pro, Manager)
ShopSite Manager merchants now have the option to have ShopSite automatically sort the links and products listed on a page.
Improved Custom Shipping Add-on (Pro)
The Custom Shipping Add-on feature now includes support for Google Checkout and coupons.
Display Same Billing and Shipping Address (Pro, Manager, Starter)
If customers check the box to use their billing address for the shipping address also, ShopSite now automatically updates the shipping Address fields to match the billing address.
New Google Analytics Code (Pro, Manager)
The latest version of Google Analytics tracking code is now supported by ShopSite's integrated Google Analytics feature.
Native FreeBSD 6 (Pro, Manager, Starter)
ShopSite now runs natively on FreeBSD 6. Merchants on FreeBSD 6 servers no longer require the 4.x compatibility libraries to run ShopSite.
